I am still amazed
At how kind and generous people are
Just when you begin
To lose hope now

In a world full of chaos and confusion
People been sold on delusion
Sometimes I lose hope

When everyone's out for number one
Workin' and disregarding fun
It's hard oh it's so hard to believe in love

But today I was surprised
Right before my very eyes
I saw acts of human kindness
Wanting to help and support
Working for others to work for yourself

On a floating stage
In shimmering water
I learned oh I learned
The most important thing from her

About passing the positive
And sharing the love
A give and receive lesson
From above child

'Cause when everyone's out for number one
Working and disregarding fun
It's so hard, it's so hard to believe in love

But today I was surprised
Right before my very eyes
I saw acts of human kindness
Wanting to help and support
Working for others to work for yourself

And while performing is an art
I wanna start making it a life long journey
And what we need to do together
Is pass the positive
We're gonna generate some love now
